We are pleased to announce that RENU, in partnership with the National Council for Higher Education (@nche_uganda ), Kabale University (@kabuniversity), Mountains of the Moon University (@MMU_Uganda), the University of Lisbon, and Maastricht University, was awarded an@EUErasmusPlus Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) grant for the ODeL-UG project in October 2025.
Funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ Programme, the 24-month project titled, “Enhancing Access and Quality of the Higher Education Landscape in Uganda through Open Distance e-Learning (ODeL-UG),” aims to strengthen Uganda’s ODeL ecosystem through:
- Development of a National Quality Assurance Framework for ODeL programmes
- Strengthening institutional capacity in digital pedagogy and curriculum development
- Improving ICT infrastructure to support effective online learning
- Fostering knowledge exchange between Ugandan and European higher education institutions
This milestone reflects our collective commitment to advancing inclusive, high-quality, and digitally enabled higher education in Uganda.
